How to Play Slide Guitar in Standard/Dropped-D DVD by Kirk Lorange
If you really want to spice up your playing, slip a slide over your pinkie and add it to your musical vocabulary. There's no need to re-tune your guitar to an open tuning, just stay in standard or lower that bass string down to D. Kirk shows you how in this 70 minute DVD, talking and playing you through the basics, vibrato, muting, playing single note lines, finding all the chord flavors (they're all there!) and mixing it all into one very neat hybrid style of playing guitar. "learn to play blottleneck slide guitar" by Bob Br
Hi, I really want to play slide, and I think "learn to play blottleneck slide guitar" is a good video to do that, but I haven't much money to spend on it so if someone can rip it (or just make me a copy) and send to me I would be really grated to him (P.D. Soy espaņol asi que disculpen mi ingles)

Brozman DVD
The money you spend on the Brozman HomeSpunTapes DVDs will be WELL worth the price of admission. They are a level 2-3 and contain a wealth of usable knowledge. HomespunTapes.com has the 3 DVD set for $59. That's the cost of two lessons...those DVDs will keep you busy for 2 years. Tons of great ideas for licks, full songs, really challenging, but easy to pick up some stuff, even if you are a beginner.

I have the first on on video and recetly bought the other two on DVD. He has his particular style and way of doing things but anyone can learn something from these lessons. I think as a beginner you should just get the first one, it has plenty for you to work with and you can later expand on the material yourself, he's giving you lots of great tools.
If you can't hear the others you're too loud, if you can't hear yourself you've gone deaf

Hi ercarrion43.
As someone who sells teaching products on the internet, I have to ask you NOT to post questions about ripping DVD's or any other material. That's not just ripping, that's ripping off.
Thanks,
Kirk

Just buy 'em - all three of 'em, they're worth every penny. You'll have top-quality learning material for years, trust me. Don't rip off good guys like Brozman who do all they can to pass on the musical knowledge and skill obtained through a lifetime. Rip off someone greedy instead´if you have too rip at all.

Another good vid is "The Art of Slide Guitar" by Lee Roy Parnell. I think it's the best one out there for beginners.

The Bob Brozman vids are excellent, though volumes 2 & 3 would probably intimidate a beginner.
If you're serious about sliding, you'll want to see these.
I've been playing guitar for a pretty long time and I think I can watch volumes 2 & 3 every day for the next year and still learn something new each time. These are VERY intensive lessons and worth every penny.
You can also sometimes find them on ebay substantially cheaper than retail price.
Sorry but I just think that Brozman is one of the people that really does deserve to get my money - ripping a DVD might only take a few pennies out of his pocket, but out of principle I think it's wrong.

I just saw Brozman perform as a soloist, opening act for Sunny Landreth. He was a very impressive solo performer. Quite unusual and unique, IMO.
I see he also teaches seminars. There must be info and a schedule on his website. I have his 3 DVD set. Quite good value, IMO

I don't own any of Brozman's musinc (YET!) but I bought this 3 DVD set and I'm way more than satisfied that I did. Much of it is way beyond me right now, and there are several things that I've heard players do, I now see how they are done, and I'm working steadily day by day to be able to play them.
I'm very glad I bought it!
