I think it's closely related to "Country Death Metal".

The Blues is very noticably absent from your list. What the *&^% is Screamo? Put me down for the blues - the slower and more mellow the better.

I'm with ya, Hilch - I'm primarily a country & classic rock guy, but I listen to a little of everything to some degree....you never quite know what might be coming out of my speakers at any given time!

Me too. I grew up in south Fl. when Southern rock was at it's peak in the mid- to late-seventies. Unfortunately, when Skynyrd's plane went down and more or less finished off the band, Southern rock pretty much died with them. The Allman Bros. started nosediving after Duane died.

I like listening to 80's hair metal bands, but like to play folk and spanish style music.

I like metal the most. I hate screamo but I do listen to screaming bands (metalcore is a complete different genre from screamo).

Rock and folk, just love the sound of an acoustic played well - so that rules out me but I keep trying
