Thank you for posting how you recorded it. That is a nice Takamine. Very sweet looking & sounding guitar.
While it is a nice hot summer day there, I have to tell you that it was -6 degrees F (-21C) here in Minneapolis MN this morning. Took my breath away

Yes, very nice playing, nice feel. Two years, huh? You're a natural, Laz. You'll be doing this for the rest of your life.

That is one of my favourite Simon and Garfunkel melodies. You arranged and played it beautifully. Thanks for sharing it with us Neilsonite.

Really Clean!
That sounds really clean. How did you record it and what guitar did you use?

I wrote an arrangement of Scarborough Fair (inspired by the Simon and Garfunkel version), and here it is. I've attached the tab as well in case anyone wants to have a go.

Hi, thanks, I recorded my guitar straight into a Presonus Firepod, into a Powermac G5 running Logic Pro, with Logic's EQ, compressor, and reverb. Guitar is an old Takamine, with a Fishman Rare Earth pickup (which has its own mic attached, which sits inside the guitar). I'm really happy with that pickup, but the battery was running out when I recorded it, so it sounds even better now that I replaced the batteries.... It was far and away the best soundhole pickup I tried in terms of richness and clarity, but that was quite a few years ago...

Whatever happened to him? Dead? I used to enjoy him and the DiddyMen (sp?) ... what was that stick he used to 'hit' you with? Brought back a few memories, that one ...

Ken is still very much alive and still touring, however he receives very little media attention these days, even in the UK. A bit unfortunate really, as he is still as funny as ever. His stick was basically a feather duster which he called his tickling stick. He was also quite a decent singer too and even hit number 1 in the UK with 'Tears'. Remember that? "Tears for souvenirs are all you've left me". Sniff, sniff.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
