I have not yet learnt it all the way through but may I share with you something I discovered while studying it? It pays to know what the next left hand position will be when you are deciding which fingers to use on the current chord shape. eg in the first bar moving from a C position to the G can be made with the least change of hand position if you keep your index finger anchored on the 2nd string C and play the G with ring finger on low E string and little finger on the 2nd string D. Then to move to the Am in the second bar you still have your index finger anchored on the 2nd string C and the hand has hardly moved.
