Question i devirginized this section, according to my browser

so i found this old guitar in a closet...she's got cracks and dings and the board that the tuning gears sit on is separating from the head of the guitar at the nut. she could probably be refinished, but her intonation rocks and she's functional. any tips on how to recondition her?
