How to Play Slide Guitar in Standard/Dropped-D DVD by Kirk Lorange
If you really want to spice up your playing, slip a slide over your pinkie and add it to your musical vocabulary. to bad I would like to hear clips of a reso with less "clank" than what I have heard so far. I have read that some people change or add felt under the cone to moderate the clank factor. Any one here done that mod and how did it turn out.

I had been told to try sandpaper, of all things. Not on the Martin, but for 'clanky' sounding reso's, rather than felt. Old Nashville trick, apparently.
At $1.49 a sheet its not an expensive experiment
