For a while now I have been playing Ernie Ball Super Slinkys (9-42) or the equivalent Darcos of the same gauge since I can buy them in bulk for pretty good prices (a dozen for $45 from SamAsh for the Ernie Balls, and $30 for the Darcos at American Musical Supply).
I will be getting a dedicated
slide guitar and in the next couple of weeks and want to set it up with heavier strings. I was thinking of 11-48 but I can't see those for much under $4 a set.
AMS has the same deal (12 sets for $30) for a 10-46 set as the 9-42, but no 11-48 set deal, so I might be best off just giving that a shot for the time being; unless anyone else knows of a good deal out there?
