is dirty - it has much of bass frequencies - it's like that "bass-like" and "tapping" guitar sound that is used in some kinds fusion. i like to emphasize a bit of mid (+7-8db) and trebble freq. (+15db) and lower thw bass (-2-3db). but most resourses advise to increase bass and trebble freq-s and lower thw mid ones. they might be saying concerning clear-sounding gutars, so i shouldn't increase basses, but still i don't like the sound - i feel lacking part of thesound...like there is a hole in it.
according to your link all the artists mentioned there use that (+bass&trebble -mid) settings exept jimmi hendrix. maybe i have a "wrong" feeling of sound. that's why I ask you about your settings and the affect you want to reach useng them
