That would be a great band. I'd put Keith Emerson on keyboard, but that would rock!

How's this for a "Dream Team"?

drums: Danny Bonaduce
keyboards: Liberace
bass: Peter Tork
guitar: Burl Ives
vocals: Tiny Tim

or, as Alice Cooper would say, "Welcome to my nightmare..."

Come to think about it, you're probably right -- Emerson would have more to add on the ivories than Powell. I chose him mainly because of his intro on "Freebird." Though technically not all that good, it's moving.

Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing.

Listening to that combo would be a nightmare for sure!

OK here we go:

Keys: Greg Allman
Bass: John McVie
Drums: Phil Collins
Rhythm guitars: Peter Green, Mick Taylor, & Lindsey Buckingham
Backing vocals: Christine McVie & Stevie Nicks

Second Chance would be the moniker for my dream band.

Drums: John Bonham
Bass: Chris Squire
Keys: Chick Corea & Nicky Hopkins
Lead guitars: Jimi Hendrix, John McLaughlin
Lead vocals: Meatloaf, David Claton-Thomas, Freddy Mercury, Pat Benatar, Tina Turner
Backup vocals: Cyndi Lauper, Stevie Nicks, Chrissie Hynde, Grace Slick
Percussion: Airto Moreira

Lots of vocalists, but with the proper arrangements - oh, that guy with the wig - Wolfgang A. Mozart; he was pretty good with choirs and voices, I hear.
