IME, Elderly Instrments has been a great company to deal with. They had the guitar in stock, and gave me a good price with free shipping. I called, and we agreed that I would send it back to the Repair Dept. for evaluation. If it is defective, they will either repair or replace it at their expense including my expense to ship it back.
If they can't find anything wrong with it (a remote possibility) then I would cancel the sale and eat the shipping. I'm fairly confident that the Fishman electronics are defective in this instrument. I'll let you know....
