Sentimental was recorded clean into CoolEdit and I then used the 'distortion' filter ... fiddled with it a bit ... and wound up with that neat sound.
I used to use a Boss Overdrive, but here in Canada for the lessons and recording, I've been using the DigiTech RP100 I bought recently. There are a zillion sounds in it ... I like number 3.
