Hi
Do you mean Carvin or Carver - they are two different brands.
I am guessing you mean Carver by the body of your message, but I will say that I had a terrible experience with Carvin and would never deal with them again. The matter was finally resolved when I threatened legal action against the Australian supplier.
Carver guitars are no better or worse than many of the cheap brands available. They are probably made in the same place as many of the competiting brands.
I have used a Carver guitar at workshops, where I have been demonstrating the Axon midi interface. The Australian importer of that particular midi unit also imports Carver, and they set the midi pickup on one for me to use.
There is a big difference between the Carver and the other electrics I play (Fender and Ibanez.) For the price they are OK, but as I said, no better or worse than most of the guitars in a similar price range. Greg Bennett guitars seem to be about the best of the cheapies I have seen.
