There are several ways you can do it. The trick is which way is best for you considering you have to move to those two 3s next. You can use your thumb like Kirk if you have big hands,but you don't want to make that a habit as it can damage your thumb in the long term. You don't need to bar the full F chord,in fact doing that will have you tripping over your own fingers when you go for the 3s. Just arch your index to catch the E string and the 3rd finger on the third string. Hit the 3s next with what ever fingers feel comfortable. If you have big hands, you can use your first and second finger or first and third to hold the 3s and your pinky to play the 5. For small hands,you could simply bar the two 3s with your index finger and use your 3rd finger to play the 5. Remeber that you not only have to think about how you are holding the current chord,but how that will effect the ease with which you can move to a new chord. Hope that helps.
