Hi All,

I luv guitars, especially accoustic guitars. I saw an Ibanez Concord 647 (6 string) which I believe is a copy of the Fender King Flat top ('60's design). The Ibanez is in mint condition and sounds ok. But, I heard that the Fender King was sonically no match for its competitors at the time. Since I am new to playing the guitar do any of you know whether Ibanez actually improved on the sound, despite the copy of the Fender design? I don't have trained ear, and I am probably over-enthusiastic about guitars as it is my new found passion. Any knowledge or advise on the Ibanez Concord range, would be great.
