That Schecter you linked to is a beautiful axe! String-through mahogany body should mean sustain for daaaaaaays, and that quilted maple top is just.....<wipes drool off chin>. Any of the guitars you listed will sound good playing most of what you want, but I think the Tele would fall short of the others when it comes to playing metal.

I'm not into metal at all, really. I just want a guitar that can handle any type of music if and when the situation comes up.
