I recently found out that a good friend teamed up with my mother to get me a guitar. I don't know the specifics, but it's a *NICE* guitar. I'm not talking something new, it's an antique Guild Guitar that he got through a friend and he is cleaning it up and the whole 9 yards.

So I would like to get him something special that is related to guitar playing, but I have no idea. He seems to generally play Blues and Rock, he plays at all different tunings ( I swear I could tune each string to something other than normal and he could play almost any tune ), and he has a dozen or so guitars the total cost has to be worth more than my car. He has been playing for close to 40 years.

What can I get him? Any ideas?
