Renting my new Fender JG26SCE
Well, went to my first lesson the other day. Figured I'd try several guitars during the lesson. I grabbed the JG26SCE and a guitar made by a company called Seagull.
Never even got to play the seagull as I became enamored with the Fender.
Told my instructor that I was looking for a guitar that sounded nice, felt comfortable in my hands, and was easy to fret. The JG had all three. Plus a built-in tuner, which I hadn't discovered(payed attention to) in my research.
It tunes perfectly and seems to hold its tune from one session to another. It's got a solid cedar top and has a very pretty tone to it.
After my first session I've decided that I think I'll be able to learn how to play!
I'm excited!
Anyways, after my lesson I figured I'd give it a week, so I'm now officially renting the guitar for a week while I make up my mind to purchase it. They did make me take a hard case with it, since it was a rental, so that's an extra $80 added to the $499.00 purchase price of the guitar. It's a very nice looking and sounding and I think I'll making my mind up to purchase it next week.
Anyways, don't know what the "experts" think about this guitar but it sounds, looks and plays head and shoulders above anything that I've owned before.
Just my thoughts....
Help me! I'm tone deaf!!
