Hmmm. I will take a crack at it. It is so much easier if you start with the chords first. It looks like It could be in either the key of G or the Key of C . Till you throw in a third chord, It could go either way. Key of G contains G,C, and D for a I,IV,V progression. Key of C contains C,F,G I,IV,V. There are variations which i will explain.
The 075 pattern is a G chord. 3, 5,1 intervals. The 074 is a GMaj7 chord. intervals 3,5,natural 7.
The 002 and 023 are a CMaj7. The 045 is an A minor because of that open B string. If you wanted to continue the feel of major7th, fret the B string at the second fret, 245 which makes it a DMaj7, a step up.
The A minor fits in either key. A ii chord in the key of G or a vi in the key of C. So you need one more chord to resolve the key.
You can think of the DMaj7 as a majorized ii chord in the key of C or a passing chord on the way to a D chord in the key of G, There are so many directions and chord substitutions you can make that this post could go on and on and I have probably confused you enough. This is not my strong point so one of the better players may have a completely different take on what's going on here.
