I`ve attatched another tab that I think simplifies the song a bit. It does involve detuning the E and A strings which may be a bit of a pain to setup, but means that you don`t need to worry about fretting notes on them for most of the time.
For you troublesome
slide, it uses 2 notes rather than the one you had trouble with.
