I'll leave the PM question to the Mods. Is your hard drive completely dead or does the computer still recognize it, if it is just corrupted it could be possible to rescue the data.

I'm not a copyright expert, but my understanding is that if someone sent it to you via an off-site email such as Hotmail or Yahoo etc, that would be OK, because that would be a private and personal risk of the sender/reciever. However, sending it via a GFB&B pm would not be allowed under the copyright policy of this site.

The new copyright policy of this site is not welcomed by anyone, but it is necessary to be better safe than sorry, because no-one wants this site to have to close down. Hope you understand.

Yeah totally understand..thanks for answering.

and to starsailor, yes unfortunately it is completely ruined and I couldnt resuce any of the date..such is life.

Also thanks to those who PMd me with info aswell..rest assured noone has PMd me any links to the tab though so the site wont be in any trouble
