I am a novice at Kristal so this is by no means conclusive. I am doing the same thing myself at the moment, recording the rhythm and then adding in the lead. I am doing the exact same thing as you are but I do not have both wavers recording. I record the rhythm on waver 1 and then switch off the the recording function (Not Recording) and then switch on waver 2 to record the lead. The problem I have is finding the timing so I experiment until I can find the proper spot to come in with the lead (this took some time for me to get down pat). When you rewind it then you can hear "both" guitars. Also, I don't think the MME route is the way to go. You have to download a little program called ASIO4ALL (read Tekker's instructions for Kristal in this forum, EXTREMELY helpful!! Plus I believe the link for ASIO4ALL is there). Hope this helps. Like I said, I am still in the learning stages myself!! Good luck

Forget all that macho s*** and learn how to play guitar
