Hi Kush!
I am not sure of your playing level, but the most basic thing to play is the
E minor pentatonic scale over your Gmaj tune. Notice the E min is in the tune also!
The notes are (from "G" ) G - A - B - D - E - G - A - B - D - E - G played from the third fret on Sixth String (fat one) to the third fret on First String (Thin one )
These notes don't have to be played in that order either, just use the ones that make a melodic tune that you like over these Chords, Fiddle with them. Otherwise just do as Rockerbob has said!
