What a chromatic tuner does is display the nearest note (C, C#, D etc.) and possible octave (C2, C3 etc.) to what you are playing AND list how much "cents" (100th part of a semitone) you are off OR display some sort of needle indicating how much you are off. I have a question... All tuners I had to deal with had these characteristics... So all of them are chromatic... My question is what would this "other" kind of tuners look like, since I've never seen a tuner diferent then the one in the above definition? I.e. is there any tuner that isn't chromatic and what does it look like?
