The album version of Angel is good but there's also a version of just Jimi and guitar which is quite wonderful. If you don't know Jimi's versions, Little Wing was also recorded by Eric Clapton and SRV and Rod Stewart had a hit, here in the UK at least, with Angel in the early seventies.
Kirk you really need to work on that record collection of yours. You're always telling us how paltry it is. Clancy, buy this man some CDs. Then again, perhaps us grateful forum members should buy a copy of one of our favourite albums and send it to Kirk to thank him for this site. Then again he would probably end up with 1,000 copies of the White Album, 1,000 copies of Led Zepellin IV and 1,000 copies of Nevermind.
