Maybe it just turns the email notifications off for the threads you subscribed to after you changed your settings... if this is the case, just go to your
User CP and go to your
Subscribed threads and click on
List Subscriptions and then select the checkbox next to all the threads listed... then scroll down to the bottom of that page and select from the drop down list "
no email notification" and press go... If you have more than one page of subscriptions, you will need to repeat this for all the pages.
