If you're still out there, Sleepy, I've yet to figure out how to edit my posts so here is another one. I was up late last night and somehow managed to mess up what I was trying to say.

There is no slide between the second and third measures, but you do move up the fingerboard between the third and fourth count of the second bar, which ties into the following bar. By using your second and third fingers to form the Gmaj7 chord on the third beat of the second bar, all you have to do is place your first finger on the sixth string at the beginning of the third measure and the rest of this bar falls into place.

Let me know if you're still trying to learn this beautiful song. I learned the first two bars way back in February but then forgot about the song until last night. Right now I'm determined to see it through to the end and it would be great to have someone else to share the struggle of learning it with.

Bob
