They make the 335 in different finishes and levels of adornment with lists of $1900-$2900...from there they go up with the signature and various other reissue models. Mine was $2600, but I traded in 2 guitars, and walked with this one for nothing out of pocket. You can get into a used one cheaper of course, and sometimes find a real bargain on a great instrument. Also look for a 333 which was made a few years ago...it was based on the 335 style, but had a coverplate on the back which made electronics easier to install, hence further cutting the price.
