Thanks Todd
I think ( and I could be wrong ), that my rhythm is improving , something that has always been very hard for me understand how players achieve it ..
PRACTICE , PRACTICE and when your finished doing that go and PRACTICE again

Yes Trev, your rhythm is definitely improving! Very noticably.

Hey Hilch - I thought the intro & outros set nice classic elementry segways. Keep it up sounds. Sounds like a song just waiting for lyrics and a little noodeling for flavor.

Hi hilch
I agree with other comments made ...but ... I think you came across just fine. You'd have no problem at a sing-along around a camp fire.
You seeem to play with confidence ... most importantly ... is how you are (anxiious, calm, enjoying etc) while you are playing.
I was taught: " Don't try so hard to get it (whatever it is) ... simply practise, practise, practise. And don't miss the practising.
The best to you

Thanks Jim , Mjwjr and John
for your encouraging words
John - I do tend to clinch my teeth together when playing thats why I am trying to write songs as well that way I have to loosen my mouth up . Since I started to sing along I have found my playing is improving ( heck I almost played a entire song the other day with only a few mistakes ) along way to go for me though but the journey is very fulfilling ...Don't try so hard I might have to use that while I am playing thanks again...

sounded nice, might sound good on acoustic for that kind of tune. On the intro or outro maybe just use the beginning chord as the notes, but hammer on and or pull off in that chord, see what ya get

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
