I just want to find out what other ornamentation people use when playing this song. I notice in the movie Kirk "thumps" the guitar body at the end of the first 4 measures, and that dynamics are essential in this piece.

Also, in transitioning to that high D/F# chord, it's easier for me to fret the 9th on the A-string with my pinky. Anyone else have any other techniques for duplicating this beaut?
