I agree with John- I was on dial-up for years, resisting high-speed because of the cost. So what we did was cut the total overall cost of cable modem by switching phone service to Vonage. That cut about $25 per month off the phone bill, and leaves about $20 or so to cover the cost of high speed. It truly is one of those things that once you get it, you will never go back. For business travel, it has gotten to the point where I won't stay someplace that doesn't have high-speed (preferably wireless).
Thanks for the comments on the mags. Might need to look at getting one or two to check them out. Also, thanks for the heads up on the Woodsongs program. I went to the website and downloaded a ton of the programs to listen to. I just dig the acoustic stuff and there's something close to the soul about the traditional styles that I really like.
