thanks dugal, i never really new the nostalgia behind jt's playing methods. didn't mean to degrade a true finger picker by any means. i play both ways, i find that you can have so much more to offer in your playing by using a pick or finger picking. after all there is alot of musical pieces that involve the use of both. exa. rodney james dio's title track ''the last in line'', the intro is finger picked as the rest is pick work. peace my good man.
