Over The Rainbow
I remember Kirk doing this as a free lesson. I have a video of Kirk playing it but unfortunately the video freezes a quarter of a way through it. Sure does sound nice.
I never saw the TAB for this. Is it an easy one to follow?
Lovely tune.
Sleepy.

It has some pretty jazzy chords. It is on his Kirk a' Lorange lesson CD.

Cheers allthumbs. I think my QT player needs a codec to play QT files. I can pick out the first 6 bars easily enough from the video. If I can get the codec sorted I might be able to pick up the tab from the video (I find Kirk's video's really easy to follow).
I do plan to get Kirks lesson CD, just not yet. Maybe when I've learned 'You've Got a Friend'.
Thanks,
Sleepy.

I just so happen to be arranging this tune for a wedding I'm doing this month. It is primarily arranged for accompanyment. Feel free to use this as a starting point. I put it together as a base for playing the arrangement and will more than likely improvise quite a bit around these ideas.

Thanks Jim. I haven't got GP5, but I've saved the file in case I do in the future. More or less worked out the chord patterns on OTR, just need to put it all together now. Yikes.

GP5 is a good investment! Very easy to use and easy to be productive with. Highly recomended.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
