Time, arik22, time. It takes more that a week to even begin to assimilate all that stuff.
Having said that, however, there are really just two main flavors: Major and minor. The variations of those two flavors, such as 7th, major 7th, 6th etc, apply to both in the same manner ... there are others flavors, of course, but start by really cementing in the majors/minors, then look at those shapes and watch how the number flavors affect the shapes. You will see the common thread. The secondary flavors -- augmented and diminished -- are used rarely and are easy to understand once you know major/minor ...
