I think basically anything that can be used to solo over - and then after we record ourselves playing over it we can upload that back here for others to hear. It's lots of fun.

Usually mp3 files are uploaded because they sound the same on everyone's system and are of good quality. If you have a MIDI file that you think will be good as a backing track, then give it a try I'd say.

Usually people upload chord progressions - blues, fusion, jazz, etc. so we can solo over them as if we had a band behind us (and we're the big time lead guitarist! )

Basically, anything that doesn't already have a lead on it... Rhythm guitars, bass, drums, etc. -- all good!
