Thanks for the encouragement everyone. I'm currently trying to figure out the tab to 'somewhere over the rainbow' by Kirk. I have a video of Kirk playing this lovely tune from when it was a free lesson, so this quest should keep me busy for a few weeks, then I'll have a crack at 'You've got a friend'.
