Line 'em up - 1 - Dropped D slide lesson

Hi Kirk,

This lesson has been my first foray into slide; something I've been keen to get into for awhile.

Anyhoo, whilst I'm slowly getting the idea of the patterns and muting the strings with the strumming hand, I seem to have issues getting the nice crisp chordlets in the 2nd measure.

I suspect this is to do with my slide technique. Currently I find it most comfortable with the slide on my pinky and I have the ring finger (and sometimes middle) damping the strings behind the slide.

For the 2nd measure, is it a case of slightly lifting off and coming back down again on each of the chordlets to get that crisper sound thereby preventing a real sliding sound in that measure?

If you have any suggestions, or recommended lessons, re my technique that would great too.

Thanks!
