Thanks for the link to the webcam Kush. It looks a lot better than the one I bought... but that was a couple of years ago now so I guess that's to be expected.
I don't want to hijack your thread here, but you should be able to compress your video using Windows Movie Maker so that you don't have to clip it.
Windows Movie Maker comes with Windows XP. All you have to do is open it and then import your wmv file. It will probably import it into snippets... but that's ok, just drag the snippets down into the timeline, they should join up automatically. Then when you have done that, just go up to file and then to save movie file and then choose "My Computer" - then just name it whatever you want and then click next... you will then see that "Best quality for playback on my computer (recommended)" is selected - click on the link underneath that says "show more choices" - then click on "Best fit to file size" - and then just select the file size you want. Then select next and you're done. You will notice some degradation in the quality but that's unfortunately something we all have to live with when compressing files for the Internet.
