Nothing offensive there. No rules broken. Relax Krissovo. You must have misunderstood the intent of his post.

Hi Linagecreed,

Welcome to GFB. Unchained Melody is really a great song to play. I found a web site that has it completely tabbed. However, it is in tabedit, but there is a link on the site to download the necessary software. Here is a link to the site, just scoll down some and look to your left.

http://bobwolford.com/

Maybe you can post your playing of it?

Have fun,

Vee

Hey Lineage,

Instead of wishing you luck, I'll just wish that you try your best.

About learning a song or any piece of music, I found it very helpful to play the piece at a slow tempo and not try to play it at the regular tempo. This way I was able to be more fluid with the chord changes and finger picking and still able to make the song recognizable.

Have fun with this song, it has such a beautiful melody and chordal harmony. There is a version of this song played by Esteban that is awesome. If you can, check it out.

Best wishes,

Vee

Hey Allthumbs and 6string,

That's funny.!!, For a while I have been getting the impression that Esteban is viewed somewhat jokingly. But he can play. I think his stuff sounds better without his backing band. When the band kicks in, so does the smell of cheese.

Esteban's Unchained Melody is amazing, I stand by it. I heard him play it on one of his promotional advertisments for his "guitar." I recall him saying that it is available on his guitar instructional DVD. I searched the web and I found a partial tab of his Unchained Melody and it sounds decent. But unfortunately, it is incomplete and devoid of the time values.
Best Wishes,

Vee

p.s. I just remembered that on his website (http://www.estebanmusic.com) Esteban has some clips of him playing a few of his songs, one of them is Unchained Melody. Once you hit the opening page and select the appropriate mode (dial-up or cable), the next page has this jukebox that has a few song samples played in their entirity. Search through the list, I have found that the juke box plays better, at least on dial up, when the songs are forwarded to the next.

p.p.s. this edit function is really helpful and useful. It certainly was thoughtful and insightful to have included it as an aid.

You misunderstood. I meant I am not commenting on anything to do with Esteban either way. it is a hot button for too many people.

Hello Allthumbs,

Thanks for clarifying your comment. Hot buttons are not always best to be pressed.

Best wishes,

Vee
