hi - how do i adjust the height of the strings

hi - how do i adjust the height of the strings
when i frett any string at say the first few frett they are touching the next fret along this seems to be happening at the first 3 fretts does any body have any ideas on how to sort this -

your knowledge is needed thanks

Silly me. I misread it to be saying it was some kind of epi copy. Your above post says blueridge lp. I thought you were talking about a les paul copy.

i was on about a les paul copy but cant seem to find any info at all about blueridge electric guitars - sorry about any confusion
