Jamie Andreas at guitarprinciples.com has written extensively about form and technique contributing to the ability to play better. Check out her short little web article on sitting positions:

She also has an article on standing positions: http://www.guitarprinciples.com/Guit...elec_stand.htm
Bottom line is the Jimmy Page low-rider technique is bad for your back and hands, and may restrict your playing ability (though you do look cool!)

Hi Pal

Thankyou so much for all the Care and for the wonderful article !
I just wanted to ask whether I can buy and start using the Priciples, if I've almost played for a Year ? I mean do I have to begin right from the start (If I do so ???)

Just wanted to know, if anyone has tried it out. Anyways thankyou so much for everything

Kindest Regards
Kush

No one can master every aspect of guitar playing, they just get better everyday.
