I'm using my on-board Sound-Card which says "Realtek Ac97 Audio" in the Device (in my software) is Realtek Ac97 Audio a good enough Sound Device. Is Sound card my problem ???

Please advice I'm very confused and I dont know what to do next.

No one can master every aspect of guitar playing, they just get better everyday.

"Audacity for recording"

I tried Audacity for recording, didn't get the results I wanted.

Give Kristal Audio a try. Its free, and I found the quality quite a bit better.

Nice playing, btw.

Here's a link: http://www.kreatives.org/kristal/ind...ction=download

I'm by no means an expert, but I do use audacity and the same card as you do, I find the biggest help in my recordings in to adjust the input level way down low then gradually thru trail and error bring it up until I'm satisfied, another thing is mic placement, try different locations until you find that sweet spot. Just my thoughts, some of the more experienced will surely fill you in and correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks tsidewinder for the link might just check out the differences myself

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
