This is with bass high to get the ring and high High End to match the song. I don't think it does the guitar justice to be honest, but its still pretty clear and nice compared to my usual steel string recordings which were awful.
I was talking to the guy in the shop, who was quite surprised that I decided on the spot to buy it since I was only there to get some work done on my other guitar and was just playing around while I waited.
He was telling me that the finish, action and sound on these guitars now are soo good, he was saying that they have to be to compete in the market place.
I have a Yahama F-310, another budget guitar, but its non-electric I think it was a fair price more expensive them the Stagg and I had to have the action changed before it was a good guitar, this one played straight off the rack, I literally tuned it and it sounded lovely.
Which is probably why I bought it on the spot.
