I am new to the forum although I have been using the free lessons for about 6 months. I started playing in about '72 and played everyday for 10 years. Mostly fingerstyle stuff like Denver Croce and Taylor with a few arrangements of my own. When I began singing oratorial and broadway style, my playing wasn't appropriate to accompany myself so I let the guitar
slide for about 20 years. Now I've gotten all that opera stuff out of my system and really want to play as well as I possibly can. I have an old Hummingbird and an older Yamaha folk. Also fool around with the bagpipes a little. That instrument makes the guitar seem very easy.
