Btw AT, do you mean not to play through ANY amp unless it's specifically designed as a bass amp? Not that I own a bass, but I borrowed my uncle's AmpTech amp and it looks like it could handle some low frequencies... So before I invite over some guy with a bass, should I check on it's properties just to be sure? |
There is a strong chance of blowing your speakers. They are not designed to handle that kind of bass response. You can run a bass through a P.A. ,though if it has a tweeter, it will give a more non traditional bass sound. P.A.s are set up for a deeper bass response so the speakers can handle it.
