That makes sense to me too. Would there be any way to adjust the Post Quick Reply/Submit Reply buttons so that when they are clicked they grey-out (hope you know what I mean by this). That way the button provides feedback to the user that it has definitely been clicked and also prevents people clicking on it multiple times, hopefully reducing double posts into the bargain.

Hmm, I'm sure there's a way to do it, but I'm just not sure to look for that. It's probably just a bit of javascript code added into the form... do you know of a site that uses this that I could have a look at?
Cheers

I remember doing something like this a few years ago in C++ which can have similarities to Javascript. I'll break out those dusty text books and have a look.

That'd be great Simon. Let me know if you find something we can use.

It even tricked some of our most experienced members who posted on page 1 of a thread and then posted a similar message again on page 2. I'm naming no names though.
Is it possible to adjust the settings of threads that contain a poll. Currently they appear in the unread posts even if someone only casts a vote. Can it be changed so that they only appear when someone actually makes a post?

Yes it is possible and and I've changed it so the poll threads now only appear as new posts when somebody replies instead of votes.
Good idea.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
