I'm really sorry to hear that Garry.
Just remember we are all friends here and we are always around. Hang in there. I really believe everything happens for a reason... and it happens for the best whether or not we believe it at the time. Try and keep busy, but most importantly, keep the faith.

Holy crap Dude...!!! Just like that...!?!
I know this may be hard to believe right now, but things happen for a reason. If she is
unhappy, chances are that you are miserable... I've been through this... I tried like
crazy for 5 years to hold on to a marriage that was like a waking nightmare... Did the
whole councelling thing, and that seemed to help for a time... But in the end, I could have
been the perfect man, and still she would have left me... She was unhappy and nothing
I could have done would have changed that fact...!!!
I came home one day from work to an empty house an a $60,000.00 credit card debt...!!!
She had moved out and used my credit cards to furnish her new apartment, complete
with work-out equipment...!!!
Even though I was emotionally and financially broken, there was a spark in the back of
my mind that felt like a huge weight had been lifted from me...!!!
After the whole litigation and bankruptcy thing, I started to pull my life back together.
It was a chance to start a new life, with a new perspective and some hard earned
wisdom...
Believe me Garry, this is probably for the best... If she's unhappy, then you're unhappy
and that is not a recipe for a healthy relationship. You will get through this and come
out of the other side a much happier man...!!!
Wishing you the best Bro...!!!
Ben

Hey Garry,
That's tough. I can't imagine the turmoil you must be feeling. I'd suggest you spend some time with some people you like and trust and that you can talk with. With all due respect to some of the comments posted here, it might well be for the best, but it still probably feels like the worst.

From the heart guys, "I can't thank you enough for being here at this point in my life, I wasn't expecting such a heartfelt response as I got, I was hesitant on even mentioning it here...everyone has their share of problems and heartache, who needs to listen to mine. I was expecting the wise-cracks and stupid jokes, but found an astounding example of genuine human nature at it's finest.
Sincere thanks to all of you,
Garry

Excellant indeed! I Loved the use of the harmonics....(In my day...we called 'em chimes) ...I got flammed by a punk on another forum for using that term..he promptly corrected me and told me harmonics ARE NOT CALLED CHIMES! LOL! right...I told him that "Shredding" is the act of tearing something apart ....NOT SOLOING! LOL!
Sounds like a little clipping in the recording, but the playing is great!

Nice!
The recording will get better. It's like learning to play - experience makes a big difference. It also never hurts to throw a few thousand dollars at it.

I guess one thing about being in a forum with so many 'mature age' folk is that there are going to be plenty of us who really know where you are coming from. Hurts like h*ll at first but things have a habit of working out for the best in the end. You have a lot of musical talent there for starters and it just became freer. (Plus you don't have to beg anymore for permission to spend money on Guitars and stuff)
Hang in there and best wishes!
