At 1:10 you'll notice he quickly flicks the switch up the top of the guitar which is the pickup switch, to the bridge.
Then he plays a county bend:

He releases the bend slowly, picking the B and G strings over and over really quickly. He does it in a song called Cat On a Hot Tin Roof. I just recognise it because it's country, and that's my thang.
Hope you're well Carol in Sydney town. I'm starting to get interested in all that fingerstyle stuff you like, like Freight Train and Cannonball Rag. It started with Setzer and ended up with Chet- bit back to front.
Hard to get that thumb to obey!
