Wonderful Tonight
My take on the classic... (A bit abbreviated) Still trying to get a feel for how to play vocal melodies on the
guit.
Please let me know what you think... To me it sounds really shallow, and I can't figure out why... What am I doing wrong?

Thank you all for your kind ears... With your help, I was able to understand how important
a thing tempo is to the mood and feel of a song. You guys are a great help...!!!

Incredible. I can't wait to have that many years of playing so I can sound like that. I'm serious. Sounds great.

Don't worry about my earlier comment, I'll post tunes again and will listen carefully to the feedback. I was just trying to give you a compliment and be slightly cheeky about my own abilities. I'm not at all jealous at the talent in this forum, more inspired than anything, and I really don't want you to miss a note!
I appreciate this place and the feedback from people who have been playing a long time.
Garry has been particularly helpful, and I suspect he might have the makings of a good moderator for this place!

I'm really happy to see the collaboration of efforts, thoughts, ideas, and the on-going help presented on this site. Said before, I'll say it again... it's not about who's better than who, so on and so forth...for me, it's about learning, helping and sharing the love of music.
I found your remark quite flattering, I'm glad I can help those I can, but the bottom line is.. I'm just like the next guy, here to learn and participate when I think I may be able to contribute and perhaps give some advice. I'm not bucking for Brownie points here, I see this site as a fantastic learning tool and seek no title whatsover. I'm just really happy to be a part of it.
Nice job guys!!!

The consensus seems to be that you really nailed the second version and I have to agree. Great playing.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
