If niether is exactly what you want,why limit yourself to those two. It doesn't sound like you will be happy either way you go. From what I have read around the web, people either love floyds or hate them and all floyds are not created equal so there are a ton of opinions on this subject. Your best bet is to ask this a harmony central. They love comparison threads

clicked on ("Pawn Shop Score") had this as a reply:

"thank god it doesnt have a floyd bridge!"

Can't believe how stressful it is buying a new guitar. This is set
to be my first "nice" guitar, so I really don't want to screw it up.
I haven't even touched an electric in the last 4 or 5 years. Really
looking forward to it. Then again, I've also been thinking about
getting another acoustic (something Larrivee). Soooo hard to
decide.
