hi all im a proper noob at all this - i got a guitar the other day and tried to tune it in and when i was tuning it the strings felt really loose and i was getting buzzing on all the strings so i decided that they were all to loose(the strings) so i tried to tighten them up and get it back in tune but then they felt too tight and then i broke the fat E string while trying to get it in tune then i broke the D string- how tight should the strings be/have i got crappy strings i dont know anybody near where i live to ask so i hope you guys could help , i think that the strings that came with the guitar must be a real cheapo make- my guitar is only a cheapo les paul copy - so to summarise i cant get the bloody thing tuned up without breaking strings any help will be gratefully appreciated as i cant practice with only 4 strings and dont want to put anymore on untill i have got some advice on where i am going wrong, please help -
